Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
