Associate Director, Channel Strategy - Media (US)

AstraZeneca

Wilmington, DE

Associate Director role developing integrated channel strategy across US markets to connect healthcare professionals and patients with medicines. Will translate business priorities into coordinated media, digital, and customer engagement recommendations while partnering across commercial teams, analytics, and agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop connected channel strategy linking paid, owned, earned, and emerging digital channels to business objectives
  • Guide brands toward journey-led media planning across healthcare professionals and patient audiences
  • Align channel strategies across commercial collaborators, brand teams, web, content, and analytics partners
  • Create frameworks, playbooks, and governance principles to improve consistency and scalability
  • Partner with analytics to support measurement frameworks and continuous optimization of channel performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years experience in channel strategy, media strategy, paid media, web, CRM, or digital engagement
  • Experience supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong understanding of how channels integrate across customer journeys
  • Ability to translate business and customer needs into actionable plans
  • Experience with measurement frameworks, KPI development, and data-driven decision making
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
