Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Room RN Emergency Department

Schedule

Days, nights, and weekends; 8 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per week.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Licensure: Missouri or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Knowledge of ED triage and isolation precautions

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for patients of all ages
• Assess and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Perform cardiac monitoring and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Manage respiratory care, including CPAP/BiPAP
• Support mother/baby care until transfer, when applicable

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); background checks and other pre-employment processes to be completed.
