Security Architect, Senior We are looking for a senior security architect to lead the design and development of secure systems for DoW clients. You will use digital and model‑based systems engineering practices to drive data, identity, and architectures for senior DoW organizations. Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of secure system architectures that meet national security requirements. Coordinate with program leads to translate customer IT needs into secure plans. Advise on new techniques, drive modernization, and balance security and modernization needs. Guide the team through network design, providing alternatives and customized solutions. Implement secure practices such as multi‑factor authentication, identity and access management, cloud, and GenAI. Integrate cybersecurity solutions to help clients meet their toughest challenges. Use MBSE tools and modern modeling to build confidence in critical infrastructure. Requirements Experience in enterprise architecture, secure system design, or cryptography. Experience with MBSE tools such as Innoslate or Cameo. Experience with SysML V2 and Kernel Modeling language. Experience supporting government or defense sector contracts. TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or Engineering with 14+ years of experience in security architecture/engineering, OR Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience. Nice to Have Experience with NIST PQC standards and migration frameworks. Knowledge of advanced security protocols, zero‑trust architectures, and secure data management. Thought leadership through published research, conference presentations, or industry engagement. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Clearance Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). This is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
