Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

Role Description
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite applications
• Strong technical expertise across EBS modules
• Deep knowledge of Oracle database objects
• Experience working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS technical components
• Develop and support RICEFW objects:
o Reports
o Interfaces
o Conversions
o Extensions
o Forms
o Workflows
• Develop and modify Oracle Forms (10g/11g) and Oracle Reports
• Build and support PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and performance-tuned SQL queries
• Develop and support XML Publisher (BI Publisher) reports and templates
• Work on EBS integrations using:
o Interfaces
o Concurrent Programs
o PIs
o Open Interface Tables
• Support data migration and conversion activities during implementations and upgrades
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Participate in EBS upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Ensure adherence to Oracle standards, coding best practices, and documentation standards
• Mentor junior technical team members and provide technical guidance

Required Skills


Oracle EBS Technical Expertise
• Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development and support
• Expertise across EBS modules
• Experience with RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows)
Development & Database
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers)
• Performance tuning of SQL queries
• Deep knowledge of Oracle database objects
Reporting & Forms
• Experience with Oracle Forms (10g/11g) and Oracle Reports
• Experience with XML Publisher (BI Publisher)
Integration & Data Migration
• Experience with EBS integrations (Interfaces, Concurrent Programs, APIs, Open Interface Tables)
• Data migration and conversion experience
Testing & Support
• Experience in unit testing, system testing, and UAT support
• Production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Collaboration & Standards

• Knowledge of Oracle standards, coding best practices, and documentation standards
• Experience mentoring junior team members
