A&P Aircraft Inspector Lead (2nd Shift 3:30PM-12:00AM)

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate Range: $36.00 to $40.00
• Hourly Pay Differential: $0.50
• Additional Hourly Pay Rate: $2.00 per license

Work Shift:

• 2nd Shift (3:30PM to 12:00AM)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the inspection forms.
• Responsible for the surveillance of all work in progress.
• Assure that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data.
• Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
• Verify calibrated tooling used is current.
• Assist the Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, and Chief Inspector to ensure health and safety practices are followed.
• This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to submit to pre-employment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.
• Responsible for the release to service for work performed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.

Education and Experience:

• Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience utilizing A & P License.
• H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear and breathe through a full-face respirator.
• May be exposed to hazardous chemicals that require the use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, and climb ladders, stands, and operate man-lifts.
• Must be comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
• Normal or Corrected Hearing.
• Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected.
• Must be able to access all areas of the aircraft.
