This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.As the Industrial Electrician you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.Primary Responsibilities:Working knowledge of basic electrical installationWiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load CenterBending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wireInterpret current NEC codesInterpret shop drawingsAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Additional duties as assigned by manager.To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.Education/Experience:Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degreeState certification is preferredRequired Qualifications/Skills:3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman as either a commercial or residential electricianPreferred Qualifications/Skills:A two year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferredAt Yancey Bros.
