Summary:

The Plant Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for a vertically integrated manufacturing facility serving both external and intercompany customers. This role is accountable for the overall performance of the plant, ensuring excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). The Plant Manager is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture that reflects the Company's values while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, engineering, and environmental, health and safety (EHS).

• Ensure the facility consistently achieves performance objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement that aligns with the Company's values.

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support business objectives while meeting customer expectations.

• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), with a strong understanding of how operational metrics impact financial performance and overall plant profitability.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and other operational excellence methodologies to create value for customers, employees, and shareholders.

• Develop, coach, and mentor the plant leadership team while building employee engagement and organizational capability.

• Manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to achieve financial and operational targets.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8–10 years of diversified manufacturing experience, including scheduling, manufacturing engineering, production leadership, and operations or plant management.

• Demonstrated success leading a manufacturing facility with full accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

• Experience managing a vertically integrated manufacturing operation is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing financials and the relationship between operational metrics, productivity, and cost performance.

• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and foster employee engagement.

• Knowledge of quality management systems, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
