Job Summary: Geologics Corporation is a client in the Defense-Aerospace sector seeking a Site Reliability Engineer. The role involves maintaining the reliability of mission-critical resources, monitoring systems, and automating recovery mechanisms to support operational needs for the warfighter. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring uptime of critical systems through incident response and triage
- Automating systems administration using Bash, Python, or Ansible
- Monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise services with Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
- Configuring enterprise services using Ansible, YAML, or JSON
- Developing recovery procedures for large-scale systems, including backup and restore or blue/green deployments
- Proven track record of maintaining system uptime by diagnosing and resolving complex, system-wide incidents
- Collaborative team player experienced with diverse engineering teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and a drive to champion innovation and process improvements
- Hands-on experience monitoring large-scale systems and automating triage of emerging issues
- Mixed job experience involving software engineering, systems administration, and network engineering
- Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire
