Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join a busy cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invasive cardiology and be skilled in patient preparation, scrubbing procedures, and hemodynamic monitoring. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures.
• Perform sterile scrubbing duties and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor and record hemodynamic pressures throughout procedures.
• Operate Cath Lab equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
• Accurately document patient information and procedural data.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or related healthcare experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• One of the following certifications is required:
  • RCIS , or
  • ARRT (VI) , or
  • RTRCI
• Strong knowledge of invasive cardiology procedures, sterile technique, patient preparation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
