Medical Biller

Teksystems is currently hiring for a Direct Placement Medical Biller in the Hunt Valley, MD area! This position is on site until after training and then it will become Hybrid but must be able to go on site.

MUST HAVE: 1-3 years or more of AR Medical Billing experience! MUST have experience working with all medical insurances doing follow up such as Medicare and Medicaid.

Description

Completes all nursing home pass through room and board billing. Performs Medicaid eligibility, comprehensive review of patients residing in nursing facilities related to room and board billing. Provides excellent customer service and collaboration with our nursing home partners. Performs all inpatient unit room and board billing. Performs eligibility of all payers as coverage in the department as necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must have at least 1-2+ years of MEDICAID or AR/Medical billing experience

Must have HS diploma, Associates or higher a plus

HUGE plus to come from a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing background or hospice but not a must

Must have strong excel skills, ability to pull data, run reports, manage data

Thorough knowledge and understanding of medical billing, insurance and private pay.

Strong knowledge of all medical billing requirements for Medicare, Blue Cross, Medical Assistance, Commercial insurance, and HMO carriers or Medicaid

Strong collection skills, including claims follow-up and revenue cycle practices.

Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding practices

Strong computer skills, including EMR knowledge and Microsoft Office.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hunt Valley, MD.

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $60320.00/yr.

PTO, health insurance-- benefits start the first of the month following the persons start.

This is a fully onsite position in Hunt Valley,MD.

This position is anticipated to close on Jun 5, 2026.
