Overview Line Cook/Prep Cook (Anderson Memory Care) – Anderson Memory Care is looking to hire friendly cooks for our dietary department in our Memory Care Communities in Slidell. Compensation Pay rate starting at $15 per hour depending on experience. Job Duties You will prepare appetizing meals by following prescribed recipes and menus, while adhering to all safety and health standards to ensure good sanitary conditions in cooking and dining premises. Prior experience is required. You must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. Requirements Must be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Check Job Type: Part Time, but it can become Full Time Shifts: Various; some weekends and holidays Responsibilities Prepare meals according to menu cycles with attention to cleanliness and order Able to prepare and provide meals to be served at designated times Clean food stations and wash cooking vessels and utensils Stock ingredients and monitor inventory Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances Skills Proven experience as a cook Further experience in customer service will be appreciated Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines Aptitude in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances Friendly with good communication skills Good physical condition and stamina High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
