Non-Invasive Cardiologist

UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time, general, non-invasive cardiologist to join its expanding team in New Castle and/or Hermitage, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will receive a clinical academic appointment, providing inpatient and outpatient services while enjoying a balanced professional and personal life. Supported by an experienced team of APPs, the role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a renowned health system and a welcoming community. Practice Info HVI at UPMC Jameson; UPMC Horizon is currently comprised of 4 full-time cardiologists and 10 APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh Part-time services are provided by 4 Electrophysiologists, a Heart Failure specialist, 3 vascular surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, and 1 cardiothoracic surgeon HVI’s outpatient office in New Castle is located inside UPMC Jameson as are a full range of diagnostic services including 2 cath labs HVI Horizon-Greenville is located within UPMC Horizon Greenville hospital HVI Horizon-Shenango is located across the street from UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley hospital UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson provide three hospital facilities with nearly 200 beds located in Greenville, the Shenango Valley, and New Castle Responsibilities Provide inpatient/outpatient services at UPMC Jameson and/or UPMC Horizon locations Perform inpatient cardiology consultations Provide critical care services Conduct ECG analysis Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac nuclear studies Teach (optional) Compensation Competitive compensation package with realistic productivity goals Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Access to health and wellness programs PTO Paid parental leave Opportunities for career development and continuing education Participation in a robust retirement plan Shift & Schedule Full-time Eligible candidates: 2026 or 2027 Duties performed in weekly rotation with cardiologists within the practice Weekend coverage is shared 1:4 Qualifications Board Certification in Cardiology Valid Pennsylvania medical license Proven experience in non-invasive cardiology practices Open to visa sponsorship
