They develop and distribute character-based products through wholesale, e-commerce, and licensing channels.We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Manager to grow our wholesale business, develop new accounts, and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers.Job DescriptionThe Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new wholesale business, managing existing customer accounts, and achieving company sales goals.This position will work directly with retailers, distributors, specialty stores, and other wholesale buyers to present products, develop sales opportunities, plan wholesale promotions, and build long-term customer relationships.The Sales Manager will also work closely with Product Development and other internal teams to share customer feedback, identify market opportunities, and support new product launches.Develop new wholesale business with retailers, distributors, specialty stores, and other potential customersBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales and encourage reordersPresent new and existing products to buyers, highlighting product features, benefits, and sales opportunitiesDevelop and execute wholesale sales plans and promotional strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales goalsPlan promotions and sales programs for wholesale customers to support sell-through and increase ordersIdentify new markets, customers, and sales opportunitiesNegotiate pricing and terms within company guidelinesFollow up on sales leads, inquiries, orders, and customer requests in a timely mannerRecommend products and merchandise based on customer needs and sales opportunitiesGather customer feedback and communicate new product ideas and market needs to the Product Development teamTrack sales performance and provide sales reports and forecasts to managementMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedbackCoordinate with Product Development, Wholesale, and other internal teams as neededWork with outside sales representatives and support their sales activitiesPlan, coordinate, and attend trade shows, buyer meetings, and industry eventsTravel as needed for customer meetings, trade shows, and other sales activitiesQualifications3+ years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale sales, account management, or a related sales role preferredStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationshipsSales-driven and comfortable working toward monthly and annual sales goalsStrong follow-up and organizational skillsAble to manage multiple customer accounts and prioritiesSelf-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a teamComfortable using Microsoft Office, especially ExcelWilling to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry eventsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not requiredNice to HaveThe following experience is helpful, but not required:Experience in the toy, gift, plush, character product, or consumer products industryKnowledge of the toy and gift market, including industry trends and buying cyclesExisting relationships with retailers, distributors, specialty stores, or wholesale buyersExperience developing wholesale promotions or sales programsExperience attending or managing trade showsExperience using QuickBooksExperience working with outside or independent sales representativesAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interested Privacy Notice
