Position Elementary Alternative Education Teacher (Teacher on special assignment) Location Northwood Elementary School Terms of Employment Number of Days Per Year: 185 (including 1 day for orientation). Number of Hours Per Day: 7 ¾ hours as per the Master Agreement. Duties Special Education teacher for K-4 students primarily with developmental disabilities, emotional disabilities, mild disabilities, and behavior challenges in special education and general education settings. Supervisory and other duties as assigned by building administration. Requirements Must hold a valid Indiana teacher’s license. Preferred license: Seriously Emotionally Handicapped, Mild Intervention or Intense Intervention. Salary As per the master salary agreement. Benefits As per the master salary agreement.
