Nurse – Chemotherapy Treatment

Schedule

10H days - 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no holidays/weekends).

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly. Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Active MA nursing license.
• Chemotherapy certification required.
• 2+ years of oncology experience required.
• BLS certification.
• Flu vaccination required in September (medical exemptions only).

Responsibilities

• Provide chemotherapy treatment to adult patients in an ambulatory setting.
• Adhere to safety protocols during chemotherapy administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and responses.
• Educate patients and families about chemotherapy procedures and potential side effects.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation is weekly on Mondays (barring holidays). All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission. Parking details will be provided.
