Senior Software Engineer, Product Engineering, EU

Overview We are seeking a full‑stack engineer to lead product development and ownership of major features across the Ashby platform. The role involves end‑to‑end responsibility for product design, engineering, and delivery, combining technical breadth with deep product focus. Responsibilities Own a large portion of a product and deliver features from concept to production. Research competitors, write product specifications, and create wireframes. Design, build, and maintain core features such as automated interview scheduling, declarative filter architecture, and integrated offer signing. Prototype ideas, collaborate with design and product teams, and integrate solutions into the broader stack. Communicate progress and decisions with stakeholders, keeping them informed of scope, timelines, and technical trade‑offs. Qualifications Comfortable working across the full technology stack, with both frontend and backend responsibilities. Experience delivering complex, ambiguous product and technical challenges. Strong balance between speed and quality, with a focus on high‑quality, maintainable code. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A passion for automation and building reusable tools that create lasting leverage. Tech Stack TypeScript (frontend & backend), React, GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, Redis.
