This opportunity seeks an experienced night shift pharmacist to support a well-established 200-bed community hospital in Florida. The position offers a 13-week contract assignment with an immediate start, providing a consistent 7 days on, 7 days off schedule during overnight hours (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient medication management
• Consult and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Holds an active Florida pharmacist license
• Demonstrated experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
• Comfortable and willing to work night shifts on a rotating schedule
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
