About the Role

The Wellness Nurse provides direct nursing care and supports the Wellness Director in managing resident health and safety, promoting a compassionate and efficient care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ orders and community protocols.

• Monitor and document resident health status and communicate any changes to the Wellness Director.

• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of caregiving staff.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and community policies.

• Support a culture of care, safety, and respect for all residents.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the state.

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift or assist residents as needed, and respond effectively in emergency situations.
