Siebel Developer

Position's General Duties and Tasks:1. Design solutions by studying requirements and information needs and recommending solution alternatives. Use variety of system design techniques including prototype, proof of concept, and reference implementation. Design solutions that consider cross-system integration and dependencies.2. Develop and modify code and system set-up based on program specifications. 3. Apply CICD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment). Constantly improve systems. Provide technical advice and support to other staff members. 4. Perform testing using both unit testing test automation and document test results. Participate in testing associated with cross-functional project team efforts. 5. Produce appropriate technical documentation and notifications for changes to production systems or fixes to production problems. Create SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) artifacts.6. Analyze moderate to high risk production problems, assess alternatives and work with team to implement solutions. Includes performance tuning, technical troubleshooting, debugging, call-rotation, and root cause analysis.7. Support project initiatives collaborating with the rest of the design team and stakeholders ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met. Provide feedback on peer designs in an open and collaborative environment. 8. Provide input to standardization of IT processes and ensure application of IT standard processes and requirements. Apply engineering best practices.9. Participate in educational opportunities to build new and additional skills and maintain technical knowledge staying current with trends and opportunities in the field and share knowledge gained with teammates.10. Other duties as assigned.• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant work experience• 5 years’ experience in application development• 3 years' experience with Siebel Financial Services (Version 8+)• 3 years' experience on Siebel Open UI configurationRequirements for this role include:• Knowledge of Integration within the Siebel application and with external parties.• Should have developed integration processes through:• Web services, SOAP, XML, data mapping, API’s• VBC/EBC, Workflow and Business Services, script, Javascript.• Database configuration (Schema changes, database views, stored procedures).• Writing and reviewing the functional and technical design documents.• Experience with Siebel Test automation and (load) testing.• Experience with Middleware with Microsoft Biztalk.• Experience with upgrading Siebel applications.Posting Date:Department: -
