Diesel Technician

Bobcat of is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team as a leader in the compact construction equipment industry. Our Diesel Technicians play a key role in customer relations and service representation, with a passion for helping customers and a can-do attitude that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections Diagnose and repair all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line Perform system rebuilds and overhauls Welding Work effectively with all levels of the company – Parts, Service, Sales, Rental Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications 2+ years of experience in heavy and/or equipment service operations (skid steers, excavators, etc.) Strong mechanical background including diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, able to stay cool under pressure Computer skills Professional communication with customers Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Reports to: Service Manager Work Environment While performing duties, the employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The position may involve indoors and outdoors work with varying conditions. The noise level can be loud.
