Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU night shift position in Albany, NY, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Position is in a Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU)
• Night shift hours: 19:00–07:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in the specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccination required — only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted; personal and religious declinations will not be accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside of the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington (50-mile radius rule applies)
• ICU competency testing is required, with 2 attempts allowed to pass
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
