University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team in Garden City, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with light housekeeping duties and errands.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy with clients.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes in Garden City, MI.
- Background check.
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, paid twice a month.
