Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Forest, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:0 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, verifying credentials when required and communicating with staff regarding authorized entry and/or deliveries. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
