I.K. Hofmann USA has a need for Welding Workers in Marietta, GA

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality manual TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and specialized metal components used in modular chimney and exhaust assemblies.
• Read and analyze shop drawings, technical schematics, and work orders to plan the layout and assembly of custom ventilation parts.
• Operate fabrication machinery (such as metal presses, shears, rollers, and cutting tables) and use hand grinders to prepare and clean joints before welding.
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies for structural precision, airtightness, and surface finish conformance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to move up to 30lbs.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day

• Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed

Work Environment:

• Must be able to wear protective gear such as work boots

• Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.

• May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 6:00am - 4:45pm

Payrate:

• $28/hr.
