This part-time position involves working three days per week, serving approximately 30 students—including those in two dedicated ASD programs (grades K-2 and 6-8), as well as elementary students with speech impairments. Your skills will help foster communication growth from now through the end of the school year.

Qualifications:

• MI Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs); ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged students
• Previous exposure to ASD populations is highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services on a part-time schedule (3 days/week)
• Support and develop IEP goals for students within K-2 and 6-8 ASD programs
• Provide direct and consultative services to a caseload of approximately 30 students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Conduct assessments and maintain thorough records in compliance with educational best practices
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
