Housekeeper PositionWe're in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, and performing other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional.This job is part-time with an expected 24 hours each week, mornings from 9:30 am to about 3 pm.Weekend and holiday availability a must. We are open year-round.Compensation: $18 - $20 hourlyResponsibilitiesMaintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restroomsVacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and help with laundry as neededTrack rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs neededEnsure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arriveAnswer general questions from guests regarding hotel services and local places to seeAssist with helping guests understand door locks, HVAC controls, and other on-site techExtra cleaning, such as deep cleaning, windows, and steam cleaningQualificationsMust have weekend and holiday availabilityStrong knowledge of cleaning techniques and productsImpeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsMust be able to read, write, and understand EnglishTechnology-forward, use of apps, phones, and keypads is strong hereAbout The Cove at RockportLocated in Rockport, MA, we are a 21-room boutique hotel that combines beautiful ocean views, modern amenities, and close-to-downtown art, shopping, and restaurants.
