Structural Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for an immediate direct hire opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with strong structural design, analysis, building design, and project management experience.

The Structural Engineer will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented architectural and design services environment supporting a variety of structural projects from design through completion. Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural project design, analysis, and documentation for building and construction-related projects.
- Manage structural engineering projects, schedules, deliverables, and client communication.
- Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications, and design documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and internal project teams to support successful project execution.
- Evaluate construction materials, building systems, and structural design requirements for code-compliant solutions.
- Support multiple active projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely communication.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

- Lead structural design and analysis for building design projects.
- Manage project deliverables, client communication, and project coordination.

- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
- Active Professional Engineer license required.
- 5 to 10 years of structural engineering experience required.
- Experience with structural project design, construction materials, and building design required.
- Project management and client management experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD required.
- Strong Revit proficiency required.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within architectural and design services environments.
- Experience supporting client-facing structural engineering projects.
- Strong background with commercial, institutional, or building construction projects.
