Job Details
This position is on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, shareholders, and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards, recommending and implementing best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- SAP software experience is required
