This contract opportunity centers on providing speech therapy services in a vibrant school-based setting, supporting children’s communication development. With a mix of onsite and potential teletherapy work, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatrics and educational impact.
Candidates with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Your background in pediatric SLP, educational environments, or teletherapy will help shape confident communicators and support academic success.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP credential or commitment to completing CFY requirements
- Recent experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational goals
- Document progress, maintain compliance with student records, and contribute to IEPs
- Offer direct therapy services individually and in small group settings
- Engage in virtual therapy sessions as needed to increase service accessibility
