Dan's Pet Care is Long Island's largest professional pet care company, serving 5,000+ client families across 80 towns in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Founded in 2009, we've grown from a solo dog walking operation into a team of 90+ W-2 employees delivering dog walking, pet sitting, daycare, and cage-free boarding at Long Island's only 24/7 staffed cage-free facility in Glen Cove. We've earned 14+ industry awards including PSI's 2021 Pet Sitter of the Year, multiple Best of Long Island honors, and an NYS Senate Empire Award. Apple even featured us as a Small Business Success Story. What makes us different? We do things the right way. Every team member is a W-2 employee with real benefits — not a 1099 contractor left to figure it out alone. We invest in training, provide the tools and support you need, and build careers, not gigs. Our core values drive everything we do: Love of Animals. Raise the Bar. Bring Your Best. Peace of Mind.

If those resonate with you, you'll fit right in. Whether you're joining our field team or our boarding facility, you're walking into a company that's been raising the standard for professional pet care on Long Island for over 16 years — and we're still growing.
