Stationary Engineer

We need people for a contract position for 6 - 8 months in Ashtabula, OH starting in July Job Summary We are seeking skilled and experienced Ohio High Pressure Stationary Engineers to oversee, operate gas turbines and heat recovery boilers and other mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of equipment, adhering to safety regulations and industry best practice Required Certifications ns:OHIO high Pressure Operator's License or Hig Key Responsibilities ies:Operate and gas turbines and heat recovery boilers and auxiliary equipm ent.Monitor pressure, temperature and fuel consumption levels to ensure efficient operat ion.Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to prevent malfuncti ons.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as nee ded.Record and analyze equipment performance data, adjusting controls as necess ary.Maintain compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies and co des.Respond to emergency breakdowns and system failures promp tly.Coordinate with contractors and other facility personnel for repairs and upgra des.Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performa Qualification ions:High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus.Valid Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator license (as required by local regulati ons).Strong knowledge of boiler systems, combustion processes and water treat ment.Familiarity with computerized control sys tems.Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical man uals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to de tail.Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined sp aces.Exposure to high temperatures, loud noises, and hazardous mate rials.Standing for extended periods and occasional climbing or crawling may be req #J-18808-Ljbffr
