Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Dispatcher to support daily field operations for a construction and contractor-focused organization in Washington. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with customers and crews, and keeps schedules running smoothly. The person in this role will serve as a key point of coordination between incoming service needs and field response, using dispatch tools and strong judgment to maintain efficient coverage.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily scheduling and assignment of field personnel to service calls, job sites, and customer requests.
• Receive incoming calls and service inquiries, gather accurate details, and route work based on urgency, location, and crew availability.
• Maintain real-time communication with technicians, drivers, and customers to provide status updates and resolve scheduling issues.
• Use computer-aided dispatch systems and related software to enter work orders, track activity, and document service progress.
• Adjust assignments throughout the day in response to delays, emergencies, or changing operational priorities.
• Partner with internal teams to support efficient logistics, improve response times, and ensure work is completed as planned.
• Deliver attentive customer service by handling questions, confirming appointments, and addressing concerns with urgency and care.
• Previous experience in dispatching, call center support, customer service, or a related coordination role.
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls and schedule changes while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
• Working knowledge of computer-aided dispatch platforms or similar scheduling and routing systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, field teams, and office staff.
• Proven ability to coordinate logistics, prioritize competing requests, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Comfortable using computers and standard office applications for data entry, communication, and recordkeeping.
