Hybrid Housekeeping Attendant

Kompose Hotel is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Hybrid Housekeeping Attendant to support multiple areas of our Housekeeping Department. This role provides variety each day—cleaning guest rooms, maintaining public spaces, assisting with laundry operations, and completing houseman duties to ensure the hotel remains clean, safe, and welcoming for every guest.

Guest Rooms

• Clean and service guest rooms according to brand and safety standards.
• Change linens, make beds, sanitize bathrooms, and clean all surfaces.
• Restock amenities and supplies to ensure a comfortable guest experience.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure rooms meet quality, cleanliness, and presentation expectations.

Public Areas

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, offices, and meeting spaces.
• Empty trash, clean floors, and keep glass, mirrors, and entryways spotless.
• Monitor public areas throughout the day to maintain a tidy environment.

Laundry

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and stocked.

Houseman Duties

• Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors.
• Assist with furniture moves and meeting room setups.
• Stock housekeeping closets and supply rooms.
• Respond promptly to guest requests (towels, linens, cribs, rollaways, amenities).
• Support room attendants and the housekeeping team as needed.

General Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and support duties across all housekeeping areas.
• Follow hotel safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and infection-control procedures.
• Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to hotel procedures.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Complete other housekeeping-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, push carts, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
