Requisition ID: 7100 Job Title Specialty Nutrition Systems, NICU Specialist - Mountain West (Denver, Salt Lake City, Sacramento) Job Country United States (US) Territory Mountain West Covering Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Northern California, Northern Nevada Key Responsibilities Position and sell Avanos Medical Digestive Health-NeoMed-related products within Acute Care and Alternate Care accounts, including NICU, PICU, Pharmacy, Infection Control, Quality/Safety, Value Analysis, and Purchasing. Validate the product cost/value proposition to increase year‑on‑year sales per the Digestive Health sales plan. Develop and implement strong business value selling skills and overall DH‑NeoMed sales acumen. Maintain expertise across the full range of DH‑NeoMed products and service platforms. Execute tactical sales activities developed by the region to reach sales objectives. Build high‑gain sales relationships with multiple decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts, including NICU managers, nurse educators, neonatologists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, supply chain, value analysis, and materials management. Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure committed business at the highest margins. Collaborate with sales management, internal partners, Standard of Care specialists, and customers. Utilize DH‑NeoMed sales and marketing resources effectively to meet objectives. Manage territory budget and use sales support resources per compliance policy. Participate with the Region Manager in strategic and tactical planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. At least 3 years of B2B or healthcare industry sales experience. Proof of a successful sales track record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Evidence of continued personal and professional growth and development. Excellent knowledge of PC‑based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Tactfully agressive sales approach. Comfortable working in a hospital setting. Travel by car required. Able to lift 35 pounds. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of medical device sales experience (capital experience preferred, not required). Experience in Digestive Health products and related disease states. Candidate in the top 10% of the sales force. Hospital sales experience preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred. Salary Range The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $70,000.00 – $130,000.00. In addition, this role is eligible for an attractive incentive compensation program and benefits. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
