Professional Land Surveyor or Surveyor in Training (Port St. Lucie, FL)

Professional Surveyor & Mapper – Boca Raton or Port St Lucie Office Pay: $75,000-120,000(+), based on experience. Primary Responsibilities Draw boundary surveys, easement sketches, and other types of surveys Interpret and draw utility as‑builts Perform detailed research at the town, county, and state levels. Read, plot, and locate land descriptions pertaining to easements and parcels of land. Review Title documents and Table A (ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys) items and apply them to the survey. Communicate with the Surveyor to ensure job completion meets company standards. Pay scale according to knowledge and ability. Position Requirements A Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) license is REQUIRED. A Surveyor in Training certificate, having passed the FS exam, is also considerable. Minimum of 5 years of experience. Must be responsible and on time. A valid driver’s license is required. At least 40 hours a week. Overtime is possible. Weekend work when necessary. Proficiency in electronic survey equipment. Topcon & Riegl is preferable. A mandatory drug test is required. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be detail-oriented. Ability to take direction and grow with the company. High School Diploma or GED required.
