Job Duties

  • Plan, initiate, and manage projects by leading and guiding the work of the staff.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
  • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
  • Manage projects from planning and development to closing
  • Perform smooth operation of all day-to-day activities of the project.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
  • Use a process-based approach to achieve project goals
  • Act as the primary lead with the customer and subcontractor partners.
  • Monitor resource allocation
  • Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Participate in corporate strategic planning activities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in project management
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • Good communication skills
  • PMP certification will be plus.
