A well-regarded regional CPA firm offering assurance, advisory, tax and technology services is seeking an Assurance Supervisor in Hartford. This is a hybrid position, alternating between remote work, the office and client locations.

A well-regarded regional CPA firm offering assurance, advisory, tax and technology services is seeking an Assurance Supervisor in Hartford. This is a hybrid position, alternating between remote work, the office and client locations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with auditors, analysts and client representatives to align on engagement objectives and expectations
- Review audit documentation prepared by associates and senior associates for accuracy and timeliness
- Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Coordinate engagement schedules and team assignments
- Lead engagement planning, including budgeting and risk assessment
- Delegate tasks based on budgets and ensure compliance with quality control standards
- Provide technical expertise to team members and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or equivalent years of experience
- CPA license or actively pursuing
- 150 credit hours for CPA certification or actively pursuing (state dependent)
- 4+ years of relevant experience; industry-specific knowledge required
- Valid driver's license
