Job Info Job Location: Gastonia, North Carolina Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Flex Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2 years Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information Local CDL A Truck Driver - $26.77 Hourly $5.36 H&W Location: Gastonia, NC About the Position We are seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for a short-term assignment. This position offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work locally with a reputable client. The assignment is expected to last for one month but may extend based on operational needs. Pay & Schedule Details Pay Rate: $26.77 per hour Health & Welfare: $5.36 per hour Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off (off Thursday and Friday) Working Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday Start Time: 10:45 AM Total Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours Job Details Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Short Term (1 month, with potential for extension) Equipment: Dry Van Transmission Type: Automatic Handling: Touch loading and unloading of mail carts on wheels Route: Gastonia Yard to Florence QVC and back Minimum Pay: 8 hours if the run is less than 8 hours Key Responsibilities Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time Dependably execute assigned routes and tasks Minimum Requirements Experience: 4 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements CDL Class: CDL A Experience: 18 months of driving experience Benefits Competitive hourly pay Health and Welfare benefits Flexible work schedule Why Work With Us Join our team and take advantage of a rewarding driving opportunity with a supportive work environment.
