Job Details Full Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Business Unit: Pipeline Reports to: Operations Manager Travel Requirement: Yes Job Description Select’s Pipeline Foreman, under minimal supervision, performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. Essential Job Functions Assists in training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level employees. Often designated lead worker. Duties may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines. Responsible for setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines. Familiarity with oil and gas operations, pipeline operations and UIC wells. Knowledge of general water piping systems, pump, motors, valves, meters and other related equipment preferred. Must pass pre-employment fitness for duty test (FIT test). Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Physical Demands and Exposures Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected. Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection. Prolonged sitting, standing, walking. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
