Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule - Shift: 3 x 12-hour days

Requirements - Minimum 2 years of clinical Labor & Delivery experience - Active state or Compact nursing license - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care in the Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk antepartum management.

Perform triage of obstetrical patients.

Assist and circulate for C-sections and recovery.

Conduct IUPC placement, calibration, and sterile vaginal exams.

Manage magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and anticoagulation.

Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) and adhere to isolation precautions/PPE guidelines.

Traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility.

Complete core onboarding items within 48 hours of contract signing.

Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers.
