As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and reporting access irregularities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Help to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional, orderly environment through observation, communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
