Full-Time Outpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join George Washington University Hospital / Capital Medical Group in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to practice in an academic, collaborative environment with strong support, allowing you to focus on high-quality outpatient psychiatric care for adults while working alongside experienced physicians and caregivers.

Employment Type: Full-time. 90% clinical 10% academic

Schedule / Hours: Outpatient schedule; details to be discussed

Call: 1:7

Patient Volume: Adult outpatient behavioral health population

Location: Administrative and clinical offices at GW. Dept of Psych 2120 L street

Practice Setting: Capital Medical Group at GW University Hospital

Support / Care Team: Collaborative multidisciplinary team

EMR / Technology: Cerner

Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients

Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff

Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities

Document care in the EMR

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Competitive salary + incentives/bonuses. Overall compensation between $250,000 and $300,000.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Psychiatry

Active District of Columbia license

Experience in outpatient behavioral health preferred
