Qualifications/Requirements:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish)
• Experience teaching at junior high (grades 6-8) or higher
• Demonstrated career consistency in education roles
• Strong track record of prioritizing student needs over strict curriculum adherence

Role Expectations:

• Deliver special education instruction to classes of 20 or fewer junior high students
• Create a supportive environment fostering academic and personal growth for diverse learners
• Employ effective classroom and behavior management
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams to maximize student outcomes
• Commit for the full academic year (August 17, 2026 – June 2, 2027) with 33.75 hours per week onsite
