Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (Two Shifts Available) 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Southwoods Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented professional to join our Financial Clearance team. In this role, you'll work behind the scenes to ensure patients are financially prepared before their procedures by verifying insurance coverage, reviewing benefits, and helping them understand their expected out-of-pocket costs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, problem-solving, and meaningful patient conversations. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping patients navigate complex insurance information with confidence and clarity.

What You'll Do

• Verify insurance coverage and benefits prior to scheduled procedures
• Review deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket responsibilities
• Provide patient cost estimates and discuss available payment options
• Identify potential coverage issues before services are performed
• Explain insurance benefits and network participation in clear, easy-to-understand language
• Work closely with patients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure a smooth experience

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience working with medical insurance plans, benefits, or healthcare registration preferred
• Ability to explain complex information in a compassionate and understandable way
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently while managing a daily work queue
