Job Title: Fabrication Operator Job Description
Responsible for the set-up and operation of various fabrication equipment including routers, press brakes, deburring machines, metal saws, and lasers. The role involves reading CAD drawings and work orders to fabricate parts to specifications while maintaining safe operations and a clean, organized working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as routers, press brakes, deburring machines, metal saws, and lasers.
Read and interpret CAD drawings and work orders to fabricate parts to precise specifications.
Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when necessary.
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Operate material handling equipment safely, including cranes and fork/pallet trucks.
Essential Skills
Experience with press brakes, fabrication, and blueprint reading.
Ability to operate laser equipment and grinding tools.
Proficiency in TIG welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Experience using micrometers and calipers.
Prior fabrication experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.30 - $23.30/hr.
