Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 13 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service. License: Registered Nurse license in Texas. Certifications: - BLS Provider certification - Neonatal Resuscitation certification - Advanced Life Support certification - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service. Description: This facility has a Level IV Client Designation. It consists of 26 labor and delivery suites, including low intervention rooms. There are 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum rooms. This is an academic teaching service. It accommodates large private OB practices. High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month. 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage are provided. Perinatal Transport Program is also available. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
