Whether you have been in a kitchen setting for years or are just honing the culinary craft, a career as a Galley Team Member will advance your experience level. Working in our fast‑paced galley you will be responsible for, but not limited to: preparing salads, plating entrees, kitchen sanitation, dishwashing and supporting other members of the team in various ways. Preparing and cooking for each two‑hour cruise takes immense teamwork. Applicants are expected to be adept to working in confined spaces and exhibit a professional attitude with a focus on excellent guest service. This position starts 03/02/2026 and ends 12/31/2026. Measures and mixes ingredients according to the recipe to prepare salads, sauces and desserts. Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking. Portions food on serving plates, adds gravies and sauces and garnishes servings to fill orders. Washes, peels, cuts and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use. Bakes bread, rolls, cakes and pastry. Clean work area, sweep and mop kitchen floors. Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine. Washes pots, pans and trays. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and trash carts. Removes trash and garbage and places it in its designated containers. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work area. Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food. Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Reads and interprets written information.
