Job Title: Systems AdministratorJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: LocalAnticipated Posting End: 10/31/2026The Opportunity:CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator to support the Federal Protective Service (FPS) located at the Denver MegaCenter.Responsibilities:Requires you to have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to interface with the government client, users, administrators, managers, and peer engineers. You are responsible for maintaining and managing the Windows server environment including various technical projects.You will engineer, install, maintain, configure and optimize Microsoft workstation and server operating systems to include Windows Server 2016 and 10.Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.Apply appropriate security measures to properly safeguard government systems by implementing industry standard best practices and FPS mandated mitigations.Support the distribution of security patches throughout the enterprise using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and other enterprise level tools.Support the administration of Microsoft SQL databases, Veritas Backup Exec backups, and virtual servers using Nutanix.Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, guides, diagrams, and knowledge base articlesWork Location: On-site in Denver, CO but temporarily hybrid right now (on-site and remote). ​Qualifications:Required: Ability to obtain DoD security clearanceAbility to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD)Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of relevant experience, or 14 years without a degreeMicrosoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE CertificationAny of the following certifications: A+, Network+, and/or Security+ CEExperience in the administration of Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2016 (updating and patching)Knowledge of basic networkingExperience in the administration of:- Microsoft Active Directory (create user accounts, manage groups/permissions/access) - Microsoft SQL 2016 databases (log shipping, event management, cluster management)- SCCM (reports, patching, updates)- Virtualization (build and maintain Windows Server virtual machines) running on a hyper-converged infrastructure (Nutanix)Experience with various Backup applicationsAbility to document all work and updates in Service NowAbility to document standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, guides, network diagrams, knowledge base articlesExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent teamwork in assisting other team membersAbility to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skillsFocus and dedication to Continual improvements and innovation​Desired:Previous DHS or DOD experienceStrong scripting and innovation skillsAbility to prepare, participate, present in Change Management process, Technical Review Board, and Change Control BoardITIL Foundation-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
