We are looking for an Accounting Professional to join our energetic and fast-paced team. This position will work with new and existing clients including Carta Buena, Sandler Partners and The Forgotten Forest. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. Job Responsibilities Include: Full cycle accounting duties Monitor daily bank balances Bank and credit card account reconciliation Process invoices for fulfillment and customer payment Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Prepare monthly Income Statement Analysis schedules Review bills for accuracy and process timely paymentMaintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts Assist and improve accounting systems and accounting control procedures Prepare sales tax reports and tax returns Assist with special projects and analysis Other duties as requested by management Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles Extremely detail-oriented and results driven. Identify and resolves problems in a timely manner Readily adapts to changes in the work environment by managing competing demands Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or comparable degree/experience) 2+ years of experience working in an accounting department Experience with QuickBooks CPA not required Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong mathematical skills High-level reasoning ability Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (heavy EXCEL) Bi-lingual and fluent in English/Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
